User C — Role and World Design

Design Principle

User C’s sessions share a four-month branch-office and personal-life arc. Repeated characters, dated milestones, and state-backed facts keep the simulator coherent while varied work and personal scenarios avoid repeating one plot.

User and World

User C manages the Glenmont branch of Stratford Paper Company. He treats the branch as a family and management as performance: fast, loud, over-familiar, eager to be liked, and deferential when corporate pressure arrives. He uses the PA as both an audience and a delegate.

The work arc moves from ordinary accounts and a warehouse inspection through performance reviews, consolidation rumors, quarter-end close, a headcount decision, and the annual awards night. The personal arc includes his condominium, improv, sports, family, spending, and his relationship with corporate supervisor Patricia Moore. Daniel Carter, Owen Mercer, Rachel Davis, Patricia, corporate staff, sales staff, and warehouse counterparts recur across sessions.

Events must produce user-experienced consequences and an explicit but natural policy shift. Pre-event sessions use the original setting without foreshadowing; post-event sessions use the new setting. The sixth slot remains inactive.

See User_C_Timeline for the canonical schedule.
