Design Principle
User D’s sessions share a four-month office and personal arc. A dated calendar, recurring cast, varied scenario families, and state-backed facts keep the world coherent without reducing it to one repeated story.
User and World
User D is the receptionist at Cascade Office Solutions in Glenmont. She handles phones, visitors, mail, supplies, approvals, and her manager’s calendar. She is dry, observant, concise, and skilled at managing difficult people from behind the desk; she does not want familiar procedures explained back to her.
Her work arc covers the Q4 catalog changeover, records retention, a corporate seminar, year-end approvals, the branch party, contract renewal, and branch review. Her personal arc follows the aftermath of a broken engagement, a one-bedroom apartment, renewed art practice, and a local group show. Recurring people include coworker Julian Hartwell, ex-fiancé Samuel Wexler, manager Peter Lawson, branch staff, her mother, and art-world counterparts.

The events respectively expose redundant explanation, fragmented questioning, confirmation delay, narration that hides a critical constraint, and an over-narrow recommendation. Each produces a natural new boundary. The retired sixth slot remains inactive.
